Ignasi Grau holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Open University of Catalonia (Spain). He holds a Master's degree in Political Theory from the University of Geneva (Switzerland). For the past six years, he has been the director of the NGO OIDEL, active in the United Nations, Council of Europe, and the European Parliament, focusing on education-related issues. Previously, he held positions as a researcher and Policy Officer in the same organization. Ignasi Grau has participated in recent international debates on the right to education. He has also authored various publications on the realization of the right to education, including the report the Freedom of Education Index 2016 and the Freedom of Education Index 2023. He published the book "La doble esfera del reconocimiento" on the recognition of national minorities rights.
