About me
Ildikó Török began working at the Tom Lantos Institute as the Programme Manager for Roma Rights and Citizenship in August 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies at Eötvös Loránd University and her Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Central European University, where her research focused on complex policy measures aimed at preventing early school dropout of Roma girls in Hungary. She also studied Minority Politics at Eötvös Loránd University. Ildikó gained professional experience in the public sector related to social inclusion before joining Tom Lantos Institute. At TLI, she is engaged in projects that promote the self-representation of the Roma, as well as in research projects examining the nature and conditions of Roma participation in social, economic, and cultural life and public affairs, thereby encouraging active citizenship.
